The Maker

Steven Soria is artisan developer whose roots lie in the saddlery craft passed down by his father and grandfather. A third-generation leather craftsman, he grew up immersed in the discipline of handwork, material integrity, and the quiet rigor of traditional making.

With a Master’s degree in Fine Arts and a foundation in sculpture, painting, and art history, Steven approaches every project through the lens of form, balance, and narrative. His work bridges studio practice and industrial application — translating artistic sensibility into beautifully engineered, functional objects.

Over the past two decades, he has collaborated with respected American brands, developing products that honor heritage while embracing thoughtful innovation. His practice reflects a deep appreciation for Americana — its durability, honesty, and spirit of independence.

Beyond the workshop, Steven’s love of early Japanese motorcycles and vintage Italian sports cars further shapes his design philosophy. Precision, restraint, and mechanical poetry influence how he thinks about proportion, detail, and longevity.

Driven by a belief that meaningful objects should endure — both in utility and in story — Steven continues to build work that lives at the intersection of art, craft, and industry.
